[edit] Wiki policies

This wiki will only be used for the purposes of recording information related to VisIt software. Users who vandalize, post unrelated material, or who create garbage pages will be banned from the wiki and have their pages summarily deleted. This policy is a response to vandalism that has taken place by unscrupulous individuals.

In order to prevent future vandalism, new users will not have permission to edit the wiki until securing such rights from the visitusers.org administrator. Send e-mail to "accounts at visitusers dot org" to request permission to edit the visitusers.org wiki. Please allow adequate time for permissions to be granted by the administrator. Note that visitusers.org reserves the right to deny wiki editing permissions.
